Head of Systems & Partnerships
Like many others, Will found his passion for the hospitality industry through stumbling into it. After dropping out of university and going back to work behind a bar in a local pub, the bright lights of London and he managed to land a job at TGI Friday’s in Piccadilly Circus as Assistant Manager. After a few years, progression and he moved to Dirty Bones to become General Manager at their site in Shoreditch.
After 5 years in Operations, Will decided to venture into the supplier side of the industry. Will jumped into the bubble at the time that was joined as an Account Manager. That quickly became Key Account Manager, managing accounts such as Cote, Stonegate Pub Group and The Restaurant Group. Will was also responsible for expanding both Stonegate and The Restaurant Group’s coverage on , both the largest accounts at the time. This is where his interest in API’s, integrations and webhooks was born.
Before joining Bums on Seats in October, Will spent 2 years with Wireless Social, the market leader in providing guest Wi-Fi and insights for the hospitality industry. As Senior Account Director, managing accounts such as Young’s, Fuller’s, Pizza Express and Azzurri Group, Will was nominated for the prestigious RMI 30 under 30 award during this time.
Will has an extremely broad knowledge of the industry and as such is uniquely suited to manage the system and partnerships arm of Bums on Seats and help deliver an increase in pre-booked sales utilising and optimising the systems in place.
When not at work, Will can be found watching or playing literally any sport under the sun. His favourites are football, golf and rugby, with him usually being found on Saturday afternoons either on the golf course or at the pub.
