Meet the Team

Mike is an Account manager here at Bums on seats and what started his love for hospitality was working in late night venues in Newcastle from when he was a teenager. This is when he managed to well and truly catch the hospitality bug which would stick with him forever.

Then eager to learn more about the industry he loved so much he moved down to London and started working in restaurants in Soho and Covent Garden. This gave him a wealth of experience immersing himself completely within the buzz of the capital’s nightlife.

  
Wanting to broaden his horizons he moved over to Shoreditch and started working in private events booking and running parties and dinners. This is where he really got to perfect his abilities in hospitality gaining valuable insights into different areas of the sector.

With his love for sales budding from there he moved over to work for the Hoxton and really started to understand and develop critical skills within the process of designing and organising private events and functions. As time went on the scale of events Mike was involved in escalated giving him a wider knowledge of what it takes to create amazing experiences.

It was this diversity and innovation which is involved with organising such unique experiences that drove Mikes passion and developed his skills in the area he feels so deeply about.
