Jennie moved from venue management to the world of event sales when she created the Head of Bookings role for Mothership Group eight years ago. A manager for one of their venues at the time, she convinced the CEO to let her take care of the company’s Christmas bookings back in 2012. After trebling their pre-booked sales for the previous year, she was invited to work from HQ to shape and develop the role further and build a team around her.
She has since amassed a wealth of experience working for hospitality groups to structure and increase their venues’ private hire sales and profitability – doing so with remarkable success. She has extensive knowledge of the corporate party market and has packaged-up, sold and produced everything from intimate weddings for 30 to a large-scale, outdoor pop-up for the Christmas party market.
Jennie’s passion is transforming underused spaces with heaps of potential into private hire revenue. Her commercial sense and market research identifies the profitable groups for the business to home in on. She then uses her creative flair to pull the food, drink and any theming or production together to create exciting and profitable content to take to market with all guns blazing.
